Amanda Tam was diagnosed with ALS on October 21, 2021 - just 5 days before her 21st birthday. Now, 5 years later, she is a thriving member of the ALS community with a large social media following and active participation in ALS non-profit organizations.
Her husband, and our CTO (Chief Triathlon Officer), Spencer, is a multi-Ironman and has always dreamed of including Amanda in his adventures so that they could explore the world together through sport. Although ALS took away Amanda's mobility, that won't stop her from completing a marathon in her brand new pushchair!
Join Amanda and Spencer on the 11th of October for 42.2km/26.2mi of celebration of Amanda's resilience and to prove that nothing can stop you from living your life to the fullest.
They will be running the Marathon Beneva de Montréal, which starts in waves as of 7:45am. Their finish time will be just under 4 hours from when they start (around 12:30pm).

The Link will bring you to Spencer's complete Strava Activities. The ones tagged With Pet are his training runs with Amanda in the stroller
